Sometimes I get to work on a project that really inspires me. It might be the passion of the people or the potential of the project, but something gets me right at the core and hits that creative sweet spot. For the recent wedding of Juliana and Michael, I had the opportunity to be as creative as I wanted to be while helping an amazing bride make her wedding day special. Needless to say, I was in my element.
When talking to the bride about her style and what she envisioned for her wedding, the thing that really stuck out at me was the amount of love she felt for her fiance and that her personality was so sunny and chipper, almost like she herself was a walking daisy (my favorite flower). She showed me some things that she liked, and with keeping to her backyard theme, I went to work. I ended up showing her some options and the end result was this….
Wedding Invitation design, with the Pochette Envelope Presentation
To quote the soon-to-be-bride, “When I see this, it makes me happy.” Well, that gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling and only motivated me to do more.
The final design was an infusion of everything she told me, with a tree designating the location and the leaves of the tree representing the petals of a daisy. I added their initials carved into the tree to signify their adorable and everlasting love. It all came together with a killer presentation of pocket pochettes from LCI Paper which truly made their official love declaration to the world unstoppable.
We used the carved initial design as the monogram, which was used throughout the rest of the wedding details to create consistency.

It was a pleasure to work on Juliana and Michael’s wedding materials, and we were fortunate enough to attend their beautiful and festive wedding. We were honored to attend and enjoyed snapping some great wedding photos too!

Have a great day!
